About

The Gigafone Technologies Group is based in Singapore, Amsterdam and Moscow, and is the repository for the experience and vision Gigafone has accumulated as a mobile advertising pioneer since we launched our pilot in 2003. Our team is comprised of over 120 experienced marketing and technology professionals across the globe. Our R&D centre is in a former closed nuclear research facility in Siberia, we maintain close relationships with outsource development partners in China and India and manage three data centres in Russia, Germany and Singapore respectively.

Experience

Gigafone deployed a mobile marketing pilot across 9 time zones and fourteen "million+" cities in Russia.  Working with operator and retail partners. we offered our patented non-interrupt solution to opt-in subscribers who were interested in ad-funded mobile content and services.  Over a three year period more than 1 million consumers subscribed to our get-called-get-rewarded community model. Gigfaone targeted advertising and messaging to community members based on their expressed preferences at opt-in stage and rewarded updates and loyalty. Members built up bonus points in exchange for viewing the targeted advertising - all channeled through Gigafone's patented non-interrupt solution.

During this time we expanded our technical infra-structure, cultivated close relationships with operators, agencies, brands and publishers while developing VAS around our non-interrupt proposition.

The result is that we are one of the few mobile marketing pioneers boasting operational experience, carrier grade deployment experience and technology,  a cohesive global infrastructure and a deep understanding of the marketplace.
